Ten-pin bowling set
Knowledge of the amigurumi basic stitches are needed for this pattern. This includes magic ring, single crochet, increase, decrease, and slip stitch.
This digital pdf includes 8 pages with detailed instructions and images.
Tools & Materials:
• 3.5mm crochet hook for pins
• 2.5mm crochet hook for the balls – for both the pins and the balls you can use a different size depending on the thickness of your yarn (I would recommend going one size smaller than recommended on the yarn to ensure there is no holes for the stuffing to come through)
• Tapestry needle / Sewing needle
• Row counter
• Stitch marker
• White and red yarn for the pins (I have used Charity Double knit as per picture below)
• Colour of your choosing for the balls (I used some colourful yarn I had lying around)
• Stuffing
• Pair of scissors
• Round pieces of cardboard for the base of the pins
The pattern is written using US terminology. Using the above size hook and yarn, the pins are approximately 20cm high and the ball is approximately 8cm in diameter.
