The Ten Squared Headband pattern comes with 10 different motifs that you mix and match to create one-of-a-kind reversible warmth! You choose one of the 10 motifs for Side One and choose one of the 10 again for Side Two. You also select the MC and CC for each side, so even if you work the same motif, you’ll have different looks on each side. There are so many possibilities!

The Ten Squared Headband is a super squishy, reversible fabric made by layering cables onto both sides of a garter stitch core. This is an example of reversible Woven Knitting. The cable pattern, for all the designs shown, is the same; the cables are coloured differently to create different motifs.

Reasons to knit the Ten Squared Headbands:

  • dense cables built into 3 layers of reversible fabric create cozy protection for your ears
  • the built-in elastic ensures a good fit (perfect for gifting)
  • it tucks away compactly into a coat pocket (smaller than a hat)
  • made from small quantities of fingering weight yarn
  • memorizable 8 row/ 10 stitch repeat
  • small project (great for learning new skills)
  • feel like a star when you learn Woven Knitting
  • video tutorials for every row from the cast on to bind off
