Tenby Cardigan
Description:
A casual and cool cardigan that compliments any winter outfit. The super bulky yarn adds warmth for winter, all while the large needles used add drape and comfort.
Notes:
This garment is a rework/update from a 2017 design. It’s worked up with a larger needle size which helps add extra drape, which in turn gives the finished garment a lighter weight since it uses less yarn. You’ll find this is still a go-to during the winter months to give you all the warmth you’ll want from using this #6 yarn.
You will create 1 back panel, 2 front panels and sleeves. For all the panels/sleeves, use a medium to loose tension Cast On. The Lapels are worked as you work the front panels, it’s the seed stitch portion. The body is completed with a whip stitch (overcast stitch) at the shoulders. Sleeves are then sewn on, followed by the sides being seamed.
