Have you ever dreamed of a light and thin, yet warm, pullover you could wear with style both in the office and to the theater? Well, now you have found one. It’s simple enough not to be pretentious, but the lace pattern on the collar and cuffs offers simple elegance. The Tender frost pullover is worked mostly in stockinette, making it a perfect project for background knitting, yet the lace will give you something to focus on. And who can resist pearl buttons for closure?

Construction
The Tender frost pullover is a top-down pullover with a round yoke, starting from a textured split collar with button closure. The collar is worked in a Japanese lace pattern without rest rows. Japanese short rows are used to elevate the back for a better fit. Yoke increases are done using lifted increases to make them as invisible as possible. After the yoke is done, the body and sleeves are separated and worked separately in the round. The body has fake side seams for a better fit and twisted ribbing on the hem. The sleeves have split cuffs with the same Japanese lace pattern and button closure as on the collar. The pullover has a classic fit, with 5 cm / 2 in positive ease.

To fit bust: 75 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125) cm / 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50) in
Intended positive ease for bust: 5 cm / 2 in. Intended positive ease for upper arm: 3 cm / 1¼ in.

Yarn
Fingering weight yarn (14 wpi) in solid or semisolid colors, 400-420 m (440-460 yds) / 100 g.
For body and sleeve length as shown on the schematic, allow approximately:
1215 (1355, 1515, 1665, 1825, 2015) m,
1330 (1480, 1655, 1820, 1995, 2205) yds.
Yarn estimates include an additional 15% for swatching and contingency.

Gauge
32 stitches x 41 rows in Stockinette st in 10 cm / 4 in, worked in round, blocked

Pattern difficulty
Intermediate

Skills required: lace knitting (yarn overs, left and right-leaning decreases), lifted increases, short rows.
Note: the pattern uses Japanese short rows (instructions are given). Also, the lace pattern is worked without rest rows (on both right and wrong sides of the work).

Džemperim ir izkliedēta reglāna konstrukcija, tas tiek adīts no augšas uz leju, sākot ar mežģīņraksta šķelto apkaklīti ar pogu aizdari. Apkaklīte tiek adīta Japāņu mežģīņrakstā. Japāņu metodes nepabeigtās rindas tiek izmantotas, lai pagarinātu mugurpusi labākai piegulēšanai. Teiļa veidošanai tiek izmantota pieaudzēšana no iepriekšējās rindas, lai tie būtu pēc iespējas nemanāmāki. Kad teilis ir uzadīts, adījums tiek sadalīts stāvā un piedurknēs, visas daļas tiek adītas aplī. Stāvam abās pusēs tiek veidotas viltus vīles labākai piegulēšanai, un tas tiek pabeigts ar griezto valnīti. Piedurkņu aproces tiek veidotas tādā pašā Japāņu mežģīņrakstā un ar pogu aizdarēm kā apkakle. Džemperim ir klasisks siluets ar 5 cm ērtuma pielaidi.
