Tender hat
Edit: Thank you SO much! We collected over 1700€ for L’echeveau solidaire with the proceeds of this sale!
A few months ago, I was approached by the sweet Lili of L’écheveau solidaire, to ask me if I wanted to take part in a challenge that would help raise funds for the Fibrous Dysplasia, which is a rare genetic disorder affecting the bones.
What is l’écheveau solidaire?
Each month, a new dyer and indie designer is collaborating to create a pattern and dye a specific yarn with proceeds that will go towards a charity called (MASFD). The charity’s goal is to raise money for medical research.
That way, they give you the opportunity to help the charity through knitting, a small but indispensable gesture to fight an incurable disease.
I’m so excited to be one of this month’s designer! I collaborated with La bien Aimée to bring you kits of the Tender hat! I can’t seem to get enough of these little chevrons! After the shawl and the jumper versions, here’s the little hat!
I have used one skein of La Bien Aimée Merino DK in the Secret garden colorway and one skein of their Mohair silk. Both yarns held together create the most beautiful and cozy fabric!
