Tender Love
GENERAL INFORMATION:
This is an easy small lace scarf which can be really useful for your everyday fashion look or a glamourous evening, complementing any open neck outfit or adding a finish touch to an elegant coat. And all this with a sense of tenderness and attachment!
The scarf is knitted flat, in two identical pieces which are then grafted together (grafting can easily be substituted by plain sewing together). Each piece starts with a small intricate lace edge, flowing gradually into a simplified lace heart pattern. This is an extremely fast easy go-to project not only for the Valentine’s Day but for any other day in the year, filled with love and affection!
YARN
The pattern is designed for any lace or even 4ply yarn and will look equally elegant as a small accessory made from a fluffy kid mohair (as originally intended) or a full-blown scarf in silk blend (the pattern can easily be modified for any required length). Given that the gauge is not substantial for the project.
SIZE
One size, easily adaptable to both size and drapery, depending on the yarn chosen and number of heart pattern repeats.
Approx. final dimensions (for recommended yarn): 30 cm (12”)/ 110 cm (43.5”)
ACCESSIBILITY
The pattern includes both chart AND written instruction for whichever suits you best.
