Tenderfoot Socks is a cuff down sock pattern I created for my LYS to use for Learn to Knit Sock classes. The pattern is written for magic loop needles, but you may easily substitute needles for your preferred method for small circumference knitting.

The instructions are written line-by-line through the heel flap making it quite easy to follow. All measurements are given in US and metric for personal preference.

The best feature of this pattern is an “about socks” section that describes in 4 easy steps how to adjust the size of any traditional gusseted sock. Once you read this section, you’ll be making socks for newborns, toddlers, and men with really large feet using only this pattern.
