Tendrils and Twine is a delicate cowl knit, in the round, using the double knitting technique. This technique enables the design to have an organic, sketchbook like quality. With no wrong side, the reversible garment allows for fuss-free wear. Draped or wrapped, Tendrils and Twine is lightweight enough to be worn as an all day accessory in addition to being a barrier against the elements.

The circumference of the cowl is cast on. Knit in the round, the chart repeats 4 times per round. The chart rows form the width.

Materials
Yarn: Quince & Co., Piper (50% Superfine Texas Merino, 50% Super Kid Texas Mohair; 50g/ 305 yards)

Main Color– Abilene 602– 1 skein
Contrast Color– Larado 613– 1 skein

Needles: One 40” circular needle in size US 3 - 3.25 mm
or size to obtain gauge.

Other: Stitch markers, tapestry needle

Gauge
6 stitches and 10.5 rows per inch (Note– you will actually have 12 st per 1”- 1/2 fall to the front and 1/2 fall to the back so only 6 are visible per facing side.)

Although the gauge is not critical, variations will affect the finished size.

For a wider cowl, the chart can be repeated twice for a height of 11”. Two skeins of both contrast color and main color will be needed for the size adjustment.
