This shawl has been created for all who loves stripes and variegated yarn
I hope you will enjoy to knit it!

Teneriffe shawl is a semi-circle shawl worked top down in one piece. It features the stripes in Stockinette stitch, Slip stitch crosses pattern in the center and delicate lace border. Finished with Picot bind-off.

Size:
After blocking, approx.: 72.4” wingspan, 23.6” depth (184 cm wingspan, 60 cm depth).
The final measurements depend on chosen yarn, needles size, your personal gauge and also, the amount of times the pattern is repeated.

Materials and tools:
Yarn: any lace, heavy lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarn.
Yarn A (main colour) - approx. 80 - 100 g;
Yarn B (contrasting colour) - approx. 50 - 60 g.
All yarn together approx. 100 - 150 g (440 - 650 yards/ 400 - 600 m).
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” (80 cm) or 40” (100cm) circular needles;
and 4 markers.

For my rainbow beauty I used:
Yarn A - Dorothy from Filatura Papi Fabio (Cobweb / 1 ply; 1640 yards (1500 meters)/100 g; 70% merino wool, 30% cashmere goat), worked in 2 strands.
Yarn B - Kauni 8/1 Lace yarn (100% wool, 875 yards (800 meters)/100g) in Rainbow colourway;

Knitting skills: basic knitting skills, kfb, K2tog, skp, slip knitwise, wyif, wyib, lace knitting.

This pattern was not tested by independent knitters. Corrections and remarks are welcome.

Written instruction.

Before start Edge Chart work 2 rows in Stockinette stitch with yarn A as follows:
Row 1 (RS): K3, M1R, k72, M1R, k72, repeat from to last 3 sts, M1L, k3.
Row 2 (WS): K3, purl to last 3 sts, k3.
There are 375 sts on the needles.
Then work with yarn A Edge Chart rows 1 - 22.

9 June 2020 - Pattern Correction
Garter section (with yarn B):
Row 3 (RS): knit all sts.
Row 4 (WS): as Row 2.
There are 369 sts on the needles.

Then work 2 rows in Stockinette stitch with yarn A as follows:
Row 1 (RS): K3, M1R, K73, M1R, K72, M1R, K73, M1R, K72, M1R, K73, M1L, K3.

Шаль Тенериффе имеет полукруглую форму. Вяжется одним полотном сверху вниз.
Размеры готовой шали - 184 см в размахе и 60 см в самой широкой части. Размер может меняться в зависимости от плотности вязания и выбранных пряжи и спиц.

Вам потребуется:
Пряжа с натуральным составом и метражом от 400м/50г двух цветов.
Для основного цвета (А) - 80 - 100 грамм,
для контрастного цвета (В) - 40 - 50 грамм.
Общее количество пряжи приблизительно 100 -150 грамм или 400 - 600 метров.
Спицы круговые 3.5мм или подходящие для выбранной вами пряжи.
Маркеры 4 шт.

Описание не тестировалось и возможны ошибки. Буду признательна за любые предложения и замечания.

Исправление:
Перед началом каймы на спицах должно быть 375 петель.
Провяжите два ряда лицевой гладью следующим образом:
Ряд 1 (лиц.): 3 лиц, 1 лиц.скрещ.из протяжки с наклоном вправо, 72 лиц., (лиц.скрещ.из протяжки с наклоном влево, 72 лиц.) повторить 4 раза до последних трех петель, лиц.скрещ.из протяжки с наклоном влево, 3 лиц.
Ряд 2 (изн.): 3 лиц., изнаночные до последних трех петель, 3лиц.
На спицах 375 петель.
