Take a vacation to Cozumel everytime you wrap yourself in my Tequila and Lime Neck-Cho. Poncho’s are making a comeback, and as someone who started knitting in the early 2000’s, I’ve been waiting for the poncho train to come back around! This Tequila and Lime Neckcho is a modern incarnation on the original poncho and takes its inspiration from Cozumel, and the 1970’s American Southwest revival. The beauty of the Neck-Cho is that it begins as an unassuming top down triangular shawl. Then, when the shawl is wide enough to be worn as a drapey cowl (or as we say in my house a “neck-cho”), the work is joined in the round and then a stunning and beginner friendly color fade is worked to really bring out that southwest vibe, while staying true to the Mexican origins. What I love about this Neck-Cho is that it doesn’t create a boxy figure; the wearers waist is still visible. So, it makes for a flattering silhouette for almost every body type. That’s definitely something that I could salude too!
