5/8” Gauge Loom that is able to be worked in the round with either/or 24 (size small), 28 (size medium), or 32 pegs (size large).

Boot toppers in photo are size medium and made on the CinDWood universal hat/scarf loom made for a calf measurement that is 14” with average US jean size of 6/8. Pattern is worked in the round and uses peg multiples of 4. Pattern can be adapted to other looms with peg multiples of 4. In addition to the universal hat scarf loom the 24 peg adult slipper loom (blue knifty knitter) can be used for size small and the 32 peg baby 2-18 month round loom can be used for size large.

Intermediate level pattern is best suited for those familiar with or ready to learn how to knit, purl, and do a 2 stitch twist (video link provided to show this technique).
