Teremok
Teremok means a little wooden house. The Teremok pattern comes with multiple options to choose from. Choose the one you like best, or if you feel playful, mix and match to create a truly unique pair.
Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Fingering weight yarn – 231y/50 g (211m/50g). You will need about 130 yards (30 g) of each color. If using larger needles, more of each color may be required.
Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 68 stitches in the hand part. With recommended yarn, needles, and gauge the mittens should fit an 8” circumference hand. To make larger size mittens use larger needles and/or thicker yarn.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method.
3. Versions: Each pdf file contains one version of the pattern charted for two possible color combinations.
4. The cuff on these mittens runs long, so you may consider shorter ribbing or other edge options if you prefer shorter mittens.
This pattern was made possible thanks to the help from my wonderful testers: JackGodfrey, katec4b, and bgow. Thank you all so much, you are amazing!!!
