Terence Bay Tee
This tee was completed and the pattern written up while we were on holiday on the East Coast of Canada, one of my favourite places. We had stayed in a pretty little bay for three days where we watched the tides roll in and out, and the birds swoop and call to each other. When the tide went out, it revealed a forest of seaweed that had been hidden under the water, which looked very much like the yoke of this top. Because of this, I named this piece after that lovely location.
The Terence Bay Tee is an easy knit, worked from the bottom up, with a modified twisted rib split hem, short sleeves and a pretty lace yoke. It is worked in fingering weight yarn, either in a summer yarn for warm weather or a wool or wool blend for the colder months. The yoke also has two options for an open lacy look or a more solid fabric. Suggested positive ease of 2-5”.
Sizing ranges from XS-32” to 2XL-57” finished chest measurement.
ETA: Testing is now completed, thanks to all of my wonderful test knitters!
