This is the kind of hat that you will enjoy making and wearing. This modified slouch hat is probably one of the least difficult hats that you will have ever made. It works up quickly and the stitches look crisp and defined. You will surely want to make more in various colors, but the definition will be most noticeable in solid colors. Can easily be made larger by adding more rows or smaller by subtracting rows. If you need it shorter subtract a few hdc blo. Measuring, as you work, is best as everyone has a different tension and #4 yarns come in different thicknesses. You may not need 58 rows. The hat is stretchy, and you will want a measurement of 20”-24” depending on head size. Also added the instructions for my Ruby Red Modified Slouch with an added stitch for a different classy look.
