NOTE
-This shawl is a great project for using up single skeins of sock weight yarn. You should have plenty of yarn left over from the project if you are knitting at the recommended gauge, but if you are worried about running out you can stop working the Pattern Section after any wrong side row, work a few rows of the Garter Stitch Border, then bind off your shawl. Alternatively, if you wish to make it larger, you can work extra repeats of the Pattern Section and/or the two increase rows of the Garter Stitch Border until the shawl reaches your desired size.
