This lovely textured pattern is my very first go at a more intentionally masculine pattern. It has some extra stretch and covers the ear lobes.

The child size fits my toddler’s large head. If for a bit larger I would just move up a hook size.

Adjust to a 4mm or 4.5mm for a smaller head!

I would rate this pattern at a beginner level.

Double crochet
Half double crochet
Front post double crochet
Back post double crochet
Slip stitch
Chain
