iPhone/Smartphone knitted covers

A practical way to prevent scratches, there are three variations to the pattern: a plain stocking-stitch cover, a ribbed cover and a simple cable cover. All three are knit on double-pointed needles with the option of adding a button fastening with a garter stitch fastening or a crocheted loop.

The final covers measure 8cm wide and 15cm tall (length is adjustable).

The pattern requires 1 50g ball of fine DK wool. Pictured in Scheepjes’ Terrazzo recycled felted tweed wool. 1 ball will make 2 or 3 covers.

MATERIALS
1 ball of Scheepjes’ Terrazzo felted tweed yarn (pictured in 704 ‘Acero’) or other fine DK wool
For Plain stocking-stitch and Cable Covers: A set of four 4mm double-pointed needles
For Ribbed Cover: A set of four 3.25mm dpns
A pair of 3.25mm knitting needles
A button to fasten
For Ribbed Cover: A 3.25mm or 4mm crochet hook
