The pattern is designed to work best for a terrier type - a larger or smaller hook will adapt it a little and the pattern has a few points where it can be loosened/tightened a little for best fit.

It has one hole for the legs so is easy to slip over the head to put on and take off.

Finished measurements if worked in the specified gauge will be:

13” Neck
18” Girth
5” Collar to Chest
13.5” Length
Hook Size Used : UK Size 3.5

Toby as pictured above has an 11” neck and 17” girth and this collar fits up to a 13” neck and the chest is a comfy fit.

If your dog is a lot smaller/bigger I am happy for you to send in your dogs measurements prior to ordering and I will work out a more accurate pattern for your dog (which will need less if any adjustments). It may just take a day or so longer depending on my workload.
