Terry the little triceratops just loves roaming the marshes and forests, with his friend Tilda, looking for tasty plants for lunch – they sometimes enjoy a “who can knock the tree over first” competition (Tilda usually wins). He is 13 inches long and 5 inches wide (when made with the recommended materials).

The 9 page pattern is intermediate skill level and is available in US and UK terminology – both versions will be available for you to download. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change, back loop only, picot stitch and invisible finish.

The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern:
US Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), colour change, back loop only, picot stitch, invisible finish
UK Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, double crochet, increase, decrease (dc2tog), colour change, back loop only, picot stitch, invisible finish

  • Stuffing: I use polyester filling
  • Safety eyes: I have used 12mm plastic safety eyes, but you can embroider the eyes on if you prefer
