Tessa Cat Hat
The Tessa Cat Hat, named after my infant daughter, is a flat-topped knit beanie featuring climbing interlocking stitches on the front and back. This beanie can be stitched in a way that emphasizes the cat ear shape (instructions included), and would also be suitable with poms or tassels.
Yarn: DK or very light worsted (85, 100, 30, 160, 180, 200 yards / 78, 91.5, 119, 146, 165, 183 meters)
Tools:
• US 3 (3.25mm) and US 4 (3.50 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles/DPNs, or sizes that meet gauge
• Additional needle (any type) in the larger of your needle sizes for 3-needle bind-off
• Stitch marker
• Sharp scissors
• Yarn needle
• Tape measure/ruler
• optional: Crochet hook/Handi Tool, additional stitch markers
