When I designed Conscious awareness and Compulsive pleasure, I love the dancing cables so much that I wanted to design a pullover with them, which is how Tessarina has been born.

Working the danding cables, as one of my testers called, is just so fun and easy that I often didn’t know when to stop. By just moving knit stitches in front to right and left, the cable emerges one by one.

Since the cables and the ribs are very stretchy, the finished sizes are quite flexible.

I am grateful that Robin from October House Fiber Arts gracefully supported Linden DK for Tessarina. What a glorious yarn! It is soft and luminous, and gives perfect drapes.

Tessarina is worked from top down in a combo of a circular yoke and a raglan construction. The cables and ribs are so stretchy that you can wear it with your preferred ease.

To fit size:
28-30 (30-33.5, 33.5-35, 35.5-43, 39-48.5)“

Finished size:
28-31(30-34.5, 33.5-40, 35.5-44, 39-49.5)“

The pullover is so stretchy that it allows you to block the sizes you would like as above. The larger size goes, the wider the blocking size ranges are.
Choose the size that gives you the positive ease you would like.

Linden DK from October House Fiber Arts/ Meadow colour /230 yards/100g/50% merino/50% silk

Gauze:
Cable gauge: approx. 36 sts and 30 rounds in 4”
3x3 rib gauge: approx. 26 sts and 28 rounds in 4”.
Both cables and ribs should be very stretchy.

Yardage:
Approx. 1100 (1250, 1400, 1550, 1650) yards

Materials:
US#5(3.75mm) needles, #4(3.5mm) only for XL, waste yarn, stitch markers, crochet hook, tapestry needle
