Tesselation
Tesselation is a sport weight hat knit in the round. The hat starts with a 1x1 rib and then continues with a mosiac colorwork pattern.
Mosaic knitting is a simple colorwork technique. With this method, you don’t have to worry about carrying two strands of yarn at the same time or catching floats. The mosaic pattern is achieved by knitting with one color yarn at a time and slipping stitches.

In the pattern, the main color and the contrasting color are alternated every two rows (i.e. two rows worked in the main color and then two rows worked in the contrasting color.). Slipped stitches achieve the colorwork pattern. Always hold the yarn in back when slipping stitches.
