ETA: This pattern was originally meant to be a for-sale pattern, but I would like to dedicate it to all of my fellow LSG members who really know how to offer a virtual ear when needed. The members of that group are the best support group one can ever have. THANKS HEFFAS! I LOVE YOU ALL!

When I saw this stitch pattern I knew that it wanted to be in a pair of socks. I knew that the socks couldn’t just go up and down. This pattern wants to travel around the foot.

These socks are knit toe-up with one of the lace panels disappearing into the heel and another continuing up the front of the leg, straight into the ribbing. Only a few rounds of ribbing are knit at the top of the sock so as not to cause too much distraction from the neat stockinette and reverse stockinette background.

The construction of these socks are inspired by one of Cat Bordhi’s genius sock architectures in her book, New Pathways for Knitters.

Pattern includes both charts and written instructions.

ERRATA: CO 18 sts; not 22.
