I designed Test of Champions to celebrate my hometown of Saratoga Springs being host to the Belmont Stakes in 2024 and 2025.

The Belmont Stakes is the the third leg of the Triple Crown in horse racing.

The green in this cowl is Belmont’s signature color, while the browns and grays represent the colors of past winners of this race, also referred to as the “Test of a Champion”.

This cowl will be welcome not only by horse racing fans, but by anyone with a love of and interest in horses.

Patterns calls for yardage in the following amounts:
Color A (Green) - 60 yards
Color B (White) - 165 yards
Colors C-G - 15 yards each
