Crocheted baby blanket, using double crochet, using three colours and bordered with double crochet, to create a quick, easy, snuggly cover in colours suitable for a girl or boy
Size: 80cm wide; 100cm long
Yarn: Yarn A: 1 x 100g ball Bernat Baby Blanket (Super Bulky) Baby Sand
Yarn B: 1 x 100g ball Bernat Baby Blanket (Super Bulky) Vanilla
Yarn C: 1 x 100g ball Bernat Baby Blanket (Super Bulky) Lemon Lime
Hook: 12mm
Pattern:
• Using 12mm crochet hook, and Yarn A, chain 43
• Row 1: Double crochet (dc) into each chain stitch, until end of chain (43 stitches), turn
• Row 2: Chain 1, dc into that stitch, and into each stitch until end of row. Do not dc into the top of the turning chain (43 stitches), turn
• Repeat Row 2 until 25 rows have been completed (43 stitches)
• Row 26: Using Yarn B, rep Row 2 for 12 rows (43 stitches)
• Row 38: Using Yarn C, rep Row 2 for 25 rows (43 stitches)
• Border: Using Yarn B, dc around the edge of the blanket evenly for 1 row
• Cut yarn and fasten off
