TEX tee
When I designed the TEX bandana, hat and socks, it was totally clear that a garment in this amazing TEXtured pattern is needed as well. The pattern is easy to work, but looks as complex as brioche stitch. It creates a stretchy fabric for a beautiful,
comfortable fit.
Starting with the upper back, you work short rows to create the shoulder lines. When the armhole shaping is complete, you put the stitches on hold and pick up new
stitches for the shoulders. After having added increases for the neckline, you join
both pieces and work the front, including increases for armhole shaping. Then you
join front and back and work the body top-down, with decreases and increases for
waist shaping. For the sleeves, you pick up stitches around the armholes and shape
the sleeve caps using short rows. At last, you pick up stitches around the neckline and
finish with a little rolled edge.
