Texas Two-Step is named quite simply because it uses two strands of yarn held together throughout, all of which are by Texas dyers Chaos Fiber Company and Savvy Skeins! You will customize your cardigan based on how many yarns you choose to use, and your row gauge.

Finished Size:
Chest 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches, length 14(14.5, 15, 16, 16.5, 17)”

Yarns: Savvy Skeins Sensible Sock, 80% Superwash merino/20% nylon, 420 yards/100g; Colorways used: Color B: Real Teal, Color D: Prickly Pear, Color F: Mahogany.

Chaos Fiber Co. Merlin, 80% Superwash Merino/20% nylon, 420 yards/113g. Colorways used: Color A: Moonlight Stroll, Color C: Old Flannel Shirt, Color E: Memories, Color G: Dusty Rose

The yarns on the lower body and lower arms use the most yarn. I began with one full skein of each yarn. There remains 80g of Color 1 (from 113) and 11g of Color 4 (from 100). I knit the sample with 44” bust, 16” body length, and 19” sleeves.

Needles:
US #8/5mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle).
Set of US #8/5mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.
Or size to make gauge

Gauge: 16 stitches/20 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, worked flat, on larger needles. Ensure you use a correct needle size to make gauge in the round, it may differ from your flat needle size.
