Texture & Colour
This asymmetrical three colour shawl is worked from one corner point to the opposite edge. Simple increase and decrease stitches are used while the coloured stripes are worked. A slipped stitch pattern is used for some stripes and garter stitch for others. Worked in this gorgeous merino and baby camel blend, this shawl is soft, squishy, and colourful.
Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, diagram, and written instructions.
This pattern uses three colours of Plucky Knitter Cozy. The sample is shown in Mums The Word (MC), Choo Choo (CC1), and Wintry Mix (CC2). One whole skein (260 yds) of Mums The Word was used, approximately 230 yds of Wintry Mix, and approximately 115 yds of Choo Choo.
Finished measurements: approximately 27 inches (69 cm) deep at middle point and 60 inches (153 cm) long across top edge, after blocking.
Skills required: increasing, decreasing, changing colours, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, sl1, kfb, k2tog.
