·70 yards of weight 4 velvet yarn / 70 yards of weight 5 velvet yarn
·3.75mm hook / 4.5mm hook
·24” inches cotton yarn with similar color
·Yarn needle
·One handful of Polyfill stuffing
·Pumpkin stem

·Chain (GH)
·Double Crochet (DC)
·Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)
·Back Post Double Crochet (BPDC)

5” round and 2.25” tall

Author Notes:
This pumpkin pattern works up quick and is so soft. Customers can’t help but squish it.
This pattern is easy to customize. Add more chains to the foundation to make the pumpkin wider and more or less rows to make the pumpkin taller.
In the materials needed I have included scrap cotton yarn with a similar color. You are free to use the velvet yarn to cinch the top and the bottom closed, but I have found that the velvet yarn is easier to snap.
