My favorite part about this blanket is that it has a lovely texture on both sides. It is shown here in pink (which didn’t want to show up on camera), but you can crochet this in any color for a boy or a girl.

Use a single color or work it up in stripes.

This blanket is worked up in a slanted puff stitch along with slip stitches and chains. And that means it takes a long time to crochet. With that said, it’s mindless and can be worked on while watching tv.

Yarn: Bernat Baby Sport (Light, #3; 100% acrylic; 300g/10.5oz) Color: Baby Pink, 1 ball.
Crochet Hook: G 4.00mm
Other: Measuring Tape, Scissors, Yarn Needle.

Measurements:
Gauge: 4 puff sts in pattern = 3”
Finished Size: 33 by 33”. The pattern includes a stitch multiple, making it easy to adjust to any size as needed.
