A snuggly blanket for a new arrival - just the right size for the pram, car or crib!

A moss stitch border surrounds twelve squares to create a tactile comforter that will lend a homemade touch to any nursery. The simple star pattern is created using just knit and purl stitches, working from a chart.

Any DK yarn can be used for this pattern but you may need to change up/down a needle size for the correct gauge. I used Wendy Choice DK yarn, as I designed this for a Winter baby, but you could choose a cotton or bamboo yarn to make a lightweight version for a Spring/Summer baby.
