This Camel stitch or knit stitch beanie is very easy to work unlike the look, it is worked almost the same way as a normal beanie, except you work your stitches on the third loop of the half double crochet, the one that envelops the half double crochet instead of the top 2 loops. That is the only difference. At the last row, I did a single crochet row so the fastening off is neater.
