The Textured Cable Wrap came about through my desire for a flexible garment that would add another layer of warmth during our cold mid-western winters. I’d been wanting to knit myself up a hat and scarf set and my search for the right pattern morphed into my own design of this garment that can be worn as both a hood and a scarf.

Although I used an acrylic yarn for the sample, any yarn with good stitch definition would work great.

I found this cable stitch pattern to be easy to remember and I was able to knit this wrap anywhere I happened to be. I didn’t get lost like I usually do!
