This cowl is a simple textured piece that would work with many yarn styles to create a basic staple to your wardrobe.

Skill Level: Beginner

Yarn: 1 x 100g ball, Sara’s Texture Crafts Sparkle DK (Double Knit, 75% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk, 5% Stellina 212m/231y).

Making Yarn Substitutions: Use a DK weight and know that of the 100g/212m, I used about 96g/203.5m.

Needles: 6mm/10US , 60cm circulars. Accessories: 1 small stitch marker, a tapestry needle and small scissors.

Total Weight: 96g (approx. 203.5m/221.8 yards)

Finished Measurements: 25cm/9 7/8th inches at rib top edge, 31cm/12 1/4 inches at middle cowl width and 25.5cm/10 inches deep.

Gauge: 4.5 stitches and 6.5 rows per inch.
