I used a 5mm hook with the tape yarn as I wanted a tightly textured cloth .The tight texture needs I get a slightly more abrasive cloth for cleaning.If you want to make this as washcloth I suggest you might prefer something with a looser drape so use a larger hook. This is ensure the cloth is softer to wash with.
