Materials Needed:
H/5MM hook
Worsted (#4) Weight yarn
Yarn needle

This pattern creates a 5x7.5” pouch with a shoulder strp to carry your water bottle. It is written in US terms. You will need to know front post double crochet (fpdc) stitches and how to increase and decrease them.

Abbreviations & Terms - US terminology:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Bpsc - back post single crochet - special stitch explained below
Shell - double crochet 3 times in the same stitch
sDec - double crochet 3 together - special stitch explained below
Bb - back bump
YO - yarn over
Sk - skip
R - round
St - stitch
* to * - repeat instructions between the * as many times as directed
FO - finish off

Bpsc - insert hook in st from back to front and around post of st, YO, pull through, YO, pull through both loops on hook

sDec -YO, insert hook in next st, YO, pull through,YO, pull through 2 loops* repeat 2 more times, YO pull through all loops on hook

Gauge:
Complete the pattern until R7. It should measure 3.5” across.
