Materials Needed:
5 and 6.5mm Hooks
Worsted #4 weight yarn - 220 yards
Sewing needle
Sewing pins
1 piece of 22 x 10 inch coordinating fabric
Sewing Machine (not 100% necessary, but very helpful)

Notes:
This pattern creates a 10 inch wide by 8.5 inch tall handbag with 2 handles.
It is written in US terms.
You will need to know sc, dc, inc, dec, and puff stitches to make this pattern.
This pattern is worked in joining rounds.
There will be instructions and a youtube video link at the end of the pattern to help you sew a fabric lining if you choose.

Abbreviations & Terms - US terminology:
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Shell - double crochet 3 times in the same stitch
sDec - double crochet 3 together - special stitch explained below
Puff - 3 loop puff stitch
BLO - back loop only
YO - yarn over
Sk - skip
R - round
St - stitch
Sl St - slip stitch
* to * - repeat instructions between the * as many times as directed
FO - finish off

sDec -YO, insert hook in next st, YO, pull through,YO, pull through 2 loops* repeat 2 more times, YO pull through all loops on hook

Puff - insert hook into st, yarn over (YO), pull up a loop,YO, insert hook in same st, YO, pull up a loop* repeat 1 more time, YO, pull through ALL loops on hook

Gauge:
10 blo sc x 8 rows = 2x2”
