Textured Ripple Blanket
This pattern contains detailed step-by-step instructions on how to create this textured ripple blanket. Version 1 was first uploaded to Etsy 19. September 2016 under my previous name, knittycatcrochet. This is the second version and is exactly the same with the exception of some new photos, and in a new template.
Not only does the pattern include various stitches transforming the traditional ripple blanket - the waves also come in two variations. The pattern works well in one colour, several colours and multicoloured yarn!
The first and last row in the pattern create a flat edge at the bottom and top of the blanket, which means once finished the blanket will be one nice square – or rectangular, depending on what size you are making. You can easily adapt the pattern to any size blanket you want – just follow the instructions on which parts to repeat.
There are two options to choose from on how to start your blanket;
1 - the traditional foundation chain, and
2 - a chainless foundation option where you crochet your stitches and create the bottom chains simultaneously.
Simple border pattern included which blends in well with the pattern.
Charts included, row by row as well as all rows in one chart. Chart for border also included.
