Knitting Pattern for Scarf with Pockets

This knitting pattern features a textured stitch that is an eight row repeat. The pattern is easy to follow. The stitches you will need to know are knit and purl to complete this scarf.

The scarf is knit using size 9 knitting needles - you can use straight or circular for this pattern. The yarn used in the photos is a medium weight yarn from Hobby Lobby - I Love This Yarn but any #4 medium weight yarn will work for this pattern. You will need 3 skeins in 3 different colors that are each approximately 300 yards in length.

The pockets are optional for this scarf so you can also knit the scarf without the pockets. Finished scarf measures about 62 inches long by 8 inches wide.
