This is a pattern for a crochet slouchy hat made with light worsted weight (category 3, DK) yarn and hook size G/6 (4.25mm). The specific yarn that I used is Snuggly Wuggly by Loops & Threads, 100% acrylic. Other light worsted or even worsted weight yarns can be used too, but pay attention to the gauge.

Note that this pattern is available only in one size: adult. But it also will be suitable for a teen. The hat is soft and stretchy.

The finished hat measures about 18 inches in circumference (plus stretch) and 11.5 inches in height.

The skill level is intermediate. The hat is made from top down. Front post double crochets are used in this pattern.
