Two designs in one pattern….
This is a beautiful 3D starfish or pretty pointsettia! My original thoughts were to design this starfish but I started playing around with it and discovered how cool it looked as a pointsettia also!!!!

I love the uniqueness of it and I hope you will to. It can be done in an evening so fun and quick!

Crochet it in smaller size 10 crochet thread and you have lovely earrings. Use beads or a button in the center for a little pizzaz instead of French knots.

Doesn’t require markers ~ pretty straight forward.

ONCE AGAIN….as with many of my patterns
This starfish is done all in one piece ~ only 2 ends to tuck in upon completion.

It measures 4 1/4” from point to point.

It would be lovely as:
decoratiion for beach theme wreath
Christmas tree ornament
Beach theme-wedding decorations
Attach it to a headband or bobby pin and viola ~ a lovely hair decoration.
Use it with your mermaid outfit

In the photo of the blue starfish I used worsted weight yarn.
