double crochet
V-stitch = 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 1 double crochet, all in the same space
front post double crochet
back post double crochet

In this pattern there is no explanation on how to work a front post double crochet and back post double crochet, but you can easily find tutorials on Youtube.com.
