Textures abound in this lace shawl. From the garter st edges with eyelets details to the body of of stockinette, lace and lace texture, and finishing with the stunning lace edging – this shawl is a joyful celebration of knitting lace!

There is also added texture in the beaded edging. Beads add weight to improve the drape and glints of light and colour to add to the look of the shawl.

Materials: Approx 600m (660yds) fingering weight yarn, 4.0mm US #6 needles, 0.60mm or 0.75mm crochet hook, 700 size 8/0 beads, markers and the regular notions. Sample was knit with Handmaiden Camelspin.

Gauge: 20 sts in 4 inches stockinette, after blocking and relaxing
