TfuTfuTfu
TfuTfuTfu, the sound of spitting three times in quick succession, and something that you will hear every Jewish grandmother say to ward off the “evil eye” or some other form of bad luck. This hat was designed as a bit of superstitious fun. The pattern combines Jewish and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern good luck symbols which I grew up with, in a design that is interesting graphically as well as texturally.
Knit Pick Wool of the Andes Sport was used in the cream sample. Color A (camel heather) 30-36 gm., color B (saffron) 15-18 gm., color C (oyster heather) 35-42 gm., color D (coal) 10-12 gm., Color E (baltic heather) 5-6 gm., & color F (pumpkin) 10-14 gm.
If you enjoy this pattern, please consider donating to the ADL, or SPLC. Both are organizations that fight against anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry and hate.
