Thai Crochet Cowl
This stitch pattern is called Thai crochet, the jasmine stitch, or sometimes the star stitch. It makes puffy, airy 6-pointed flowers that interlock to form a beautiful pattern. Due to the puffiness and thus the amount of yarn required, this cowl is on the heavier/thicker side and will keep you toasty!
Materials: 7 balls of Garnstudio DROPS Alpaca or 1271 yds of your preferred sport weight yarn
Finished size: 60” (168 cm) circumference, 9” (23 cm) wide
Finished size is adjustable
This stitch pattern is pretty advanced and the gauge will depend on how tall you personally make your puff stitches, so recommended measurements are given in the foundation row to help.
The pattern has step-by-step photos and is fully written out, but the crocheter needs to already be practiced with making puff stitches.
