Always have the nostalgia of Skyrim* with you when you wear this sweater. Each Hold of Skyrim is shown across the chest and back, while the Imperial dragon/Skyrim game cover logo flanks each shoulder. The rest of the design is reminiscent of scalemail armor and includes celtic knots to complete the look. This sweater is worked from the bottom-up, saving the color portion for last. The top portion is worked in a traditional yoke style. Quince and Co is a great first-time use yarn as it is easy to work with, has a huge array of colors, and leaves a very nicely contrasted finished project. The version shown has a base foundation in Chickadee, Quince and Co’s sport weight. Kumlien’s Gull is contrasted beautifully with Slate. Birds Egg, Delft, and Glacier provide a blue ombre to complete the look. If you decide to use a different brand, try to keep to the same weight of 362 yds per 100g.
