Many, many thanks to all of the Ravelers who have supported me by purchasing, making, and commenting on my designs. I appreciate your support so much! This month marks my first anniversary for submitting designs on Ravelry, and I wanted to thank each of you. So, here is my Thank-You Cowl.

The Thank-You Cowl is a ruched cowl about 38 inches (96.5cm) in length and 7 and 1/2 inches (19cm) in width. After a few setup rows, the cowl is a 10-row repeat. It is made in one long piece like a scarf and then seamed with crochet stitches at the end.

You can lengthen or shorten this cowl by simply changing the number of 10-row repeats. In addition, you can make it wider by chaining more stitches at the beginning. Make sure to chain an even number so that when you work a single crochet into the second chain you end up with an odd number of stitches at the beginning.

The following stitches were used:
Chain, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Triple (Treble) Crochet, and Slip Stitch

Please send me a message if you have any questions about this design, our join our group, CrochetWorks. We love to chat about crochet and yarn:)

Thank you!

P.S. And a big Thank You to my friend Bobbe, a wonderful knitter and designer, who came in to work one day with a ruched poncho on that she had designed. Well…I had to give ruching a try!
