This is a drapey moebius cowl that also can be worn doubled up for extra warmth.
The pattern is written to use up as much of 1 skein as possible so having exact yardage is not critical. Having significantly more or less will effect the width of the finished cowl.
To make the cowl longer or shorter, add or subtract in multiples of 16. This will effect the number of beads needed (4 beads per multiple added or subtracted)
Pictured is a gradient (Knit Circus, Pirouette, in Golden Leaves, sadly it is discontinued) which works up really fun in a moebius, as would self striping yarns. This pattern works for variegated, tonals and solids, too.
Using a wool blend with nylon, Tencel, rayon, silk, alpaca, cashmere, etc, will make for a more drapey fabric. 100% wool will have more body.
6mm beads are good. We like the Japanese ones that have larger holes. Pictured are hammered brass beads. Buy a little extra because a few beads will get lost or will not work.

NOTIONS:
100 beads
Size 14 crochet hook to place beads.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Stitch marker for start of round, more if desired.
