It’a a gorgeous crochet blanket that looks way more advanced than it is and can be made in any size according to your preferences.
If you’ve always wanted to try mosaic crochet colorwork, but you are anxious about choosing colors, a monochrome or two-color combination is a perfect solution.
The pattern uses US crochet terms, includes row by row written instructions and mosaic chart as well as a step-by-step photo tutorial.
Materials & Tools:
1. Yarn Gazzal Baby Cotton XL 50g = 105m, 50% cotton, 50% acrylic.
Yarn A: White (3432) – 10 balls,
Yarn B: Black (3433) – 8 balls.
Note that yardage may vary depending on yarn used, gauge variations or modifications.
- Hook size 4mm. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge,
- Tapestry needle (to weave and hide yarn ends),
- Scissors.
Level: Intermediate - mosaic crochet technique
Size (adjustable):
94.7cm/37.2” wide x 107.5cm/42.3 long.
Gauge:
15 sts and 19 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4”) using 4mm hook with single crochet stitches.
If necessary, adjust hook size to obtain the correct gauge.
