This pattern comes in two sizes, newborn and big newborn/0-3 months. I always make the bigger size for my babies as they are always 8 lbs or more and it gives them some room to grow, while still working nicely. The smaller size has been tested on many smaller babies and is a good idea if your babies tend to be less than 8 lbs.

You will need
-size 7 circulars, or size needed to obtain gauge
-DPN’s (double point needles) same size as circulars
-approximately 250 yards of yarn. This is a generous estimate!
-stitch marker
-measuring tape
-darning or yarn needle
-scissors
